Cataract Hotel – Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt – Red Sea

Location: In central Naama bay, two blocks back from the beach promenade, next to Hard Rock Café.
Hotel: Built in 1995, The Cataract is a slightly older hotel than the Ultra modern chain hotels. Good Clean facilities and in a very central position, within walking distance to all the main bars and restaurants and beach. The main entrance of the hotel is approx. 300m from the beach. After the main reception building the hotel then opens out into a central courtyard with a lower level.

Accommodation: There are 124 rooms built in a traditional hotel style in blocks surrounding the pool. All rooms have a balcony with all the normal hotel facilities e.g. a/c, mini bar, and satellite TV.
Sport and Entertainment: The pool is heated and is large and rectangle in shape – perfect for doing laps. There is also a spacious gym with sauna and steam rooms.
The hotel also has use of the main Naama beach and the Layalina Cataract resort facilities.
